Bethesda dev talks

She pokes me with a stick every time she posts. I thought it was a special stick just for me, so I'd hope that the stick she pokes Bethsoft fanboys with is not the same one. It's all I have to rely on in these dark times.

This clearly points out the depth of the problem.

Also, notice how they use a lot of evasive wording, and it's been all around. That bit from Petey is enough to get my suspicions up about this, and the whole "we're Fallout fans, too" doesn't mean that they have any real idea as to why the original game was developed the way it was. It appears they have seen that it's "okay" to be transferred to another genre or style.

So far, it looks like they are trying to run two lines of spin. Petey for the TES fans, Noonan to try and appease Fallout fans with that kind of crap we've heard before, by Chucky no less.

So far, I'm not too impressed, given what Petey as said. At least he had substance, the other fellow just relayed an emotional loosening of the bowels.

I AM a fan of FO. Who better to have working on a game than a FAN.... someone who knows the game, knows what it's about, knows the mood, knows the setting and atmosphere.

I always figured developers of FO would be the best ones to develop the game... but I guess if he thinks so, it can be "fans" of fallout. Hrm, I don't like the sound of all thats been said, but I guess I'll just have to wait a few more days and see what happens. I bet they never imagined the can of worms they opened when they obtained the Fallout rights though.

Expecting me or anyone else to be grateful for Bethesda's Morrowind-with-Guns is like throwing us a cardboard toilet paper tube with the word BOAN written on it with a sharpie and expecting us to be happy with it.

I think Exitium summed up what how I feel. They did assure us that its not going to be Morrowind with guns.
