Bonus mission missing tiles

After a few years break, I'm planning to play this game over again.

However, I am curious about one thing. There are some missing roof tiles in the bonus mission (Springfield), that doesn't occur those who have the special edition of the game.

Has anyone made a unofficial patch, that adds the missing tiles for the regular edition of the game?

First I've heard of missing tiles, first I've heard of a special edition for that matter. Screenshots/links someone please.

Springfield does have some pink tiles visible, which should be invisible. Pink (invisible) tiles are used to make the roofs disappear when a character approachs a building etc.

This can be quickly rectified by extracting the map (mission08.mis) from mis-core_B.bos (with winzip or winrar) to core\campaigns\missions\core.

Then opening it up in the level editor and going Tools/Update Tiles Used and saving.

There's no need to repackage it back into the bos file!

When I talked about special edition, I mean't the Fallout Tactics, that shipped with bonus CD when it was pre-ordered. The bonus CD included Fallout: Warfare, a miniatures game based on the Fallout universe, and a bonus level.

The bonus level was activated by a patch, it's available in the download section. I don't know if actually updates the springfield map or not, I usually just activate it in the bos config.

But if that was all you were talking about then to answer your original question yeah there's already a patch for springfield.
