There's lots more copy protection on stuff in Europe, for some reason. Someone had me trying to copy a Greek CD, and it has some kind of weird app. that overrides your media player and tries to play the CD itself. The CD can't be copied on a PC... but the solution, of course, is simple: a 20 year old Citizen portable CD player the size of a brick and a patch cable. Play the CD, record files, and subsequently burn them to a CD that you can do whatever you want with. Strange that this copy protection foils only the most casual copier, on whom the record company looses a pittance if anything (For if he can't get the album for free, then he probably won't get it at all), not the determined pirate who will take the company for as much as he can selling bootlegs.
