hey so i just started righting on these forums so if im in the wrong category for this discussion my apologies. also this is gona be a long read sorry
So when it comes to character creation within fallout 3 and fallout new vegas i defiantly like to play around with armour, hats and helmets and all that junk. i play on xbox so i don't mod.
for exsample i completely exploited the chinese steath armour glith in f3. i found out that there were categories for euipment.
glasses, mask, hats and helmets, if u equipped steah armour then a selected hat, lincons hat for exsample, a hockey mask,then biker goggles, then a selected helmet, filtration helmet,
it would allow u to were the filtration helmet with licons hat, witch
made a very cool steam punk character if warn with the grifter fit off the dude on the boat from point look out, thats what my character was,
but anyways there seem to be codes. the hat always being the start of the code, then biker goggles wich seem to over ride the hockey mask allowing u to select a helmet. things would also seem to alter this such as witch one was placed in you invotory first and its condition
but u could find some pretty cool combos. the easyest being hell fire helmet with oasis hood, and then the relly hard one witch i only once or twice did and couldn't remeber the order to do it, raider waste hound helmet and lincons hate,
if anyone finds out cool combos you post them
So this is where fallout new vegas comes around i've been tryin to find cool little tricks for charatcer creation. and only stumbled apon a few
first being that the raider blaster man helmet lets u eqiup the rebreather given it these cool lookin tubes that stick out the sides.
and it also lets you euip glasses underneath it. not at the same time but good for people who took the four eyes perk but want to were a helmet
second if you equip any the four, mini gun, flamer, gatlin, or granade machine gun, and they have attached mods. then requip your armour or a new one. then select another weopon in that order, can be any weapon doesn't matter. you will still have the first heavy weapons back park ammo on you character.
exsample, my character is equipped with ganon telsa armour, a welding mask or what ever there called. and a mini gun back park.
its pretty friggen beast, i was gonna us the telsa cannon but it was just to much...
but ya, post if you found such exploits, and my main goal is to hopefully find a way to equip a riffle on you back and a side arm, buts probly impossible, you can euipe all the back ammo at once so thats a start
