Courier's Route?

There is a discussion called "Where did the Courier get his delivery order?" in which J.E. Sawyer replied with the following post:

The Courier carried his/her delivery from southern NCR, toward the Hub. We intentionally left the Courier's origins and the exact nature of the initial transaction vague.​

This is what the Courier's Mojave Express Delivery Order states:

Deliver the package at the north entrance to the Vegas Strip, by way of Freeside. An agent of the recipient will meet you at the checkpoint, take possession of the package, and pay for the delivery. Bring the payment to Johnson Nash at the Mojave Express agency in Primm.

Did the Courier arrive through the Mojave Outpost or elsewhere before ending up in Goodsprings?

Well i guess via the mojave outpost. And was heading to new vegas via goodsprings. Thats allways what I thought. But it does't matter too much as its suppose to be pretty vague

I think people are just trying to make sense of it.

It's possible that he was heading from the mojave outpost, and was going to head north by way of sloan, though was intercepted close to goodsprings and taken to goodsprings cemetary to be disposed of.

The Courier headed to Goodsprings through Primm and the Outpost. S/He would've gotten to Sloan before being turned back (or heading through and getting mauled by Deathclaws) and would've gone down through Nipton (and would've likely been caught in the Legion raid or would've gotten out just before it got taken,) Searchlight (depending on the timeline, s/he might've gotten there before the Legion set off the rad bomb) and Novac before heading north to Vegas.
