First time out of the vault
maybe there is already a topic like this but i didnt find it so i apologize for making a fuss...

anyway, i got stuck on all current missions so i cant move forward in game, maybe some1 has solutions:
-i cant repair that stupid police hummer, dunno what to do, only thing that i can do with it is shoot it, my repair skill is poor btw
-i cant overclock that bandit in casino, again i must say my repair and science skills are bad, im playing my usual fighter-sneaker char, do i need to be a mechanic to finish the game???
-that gun salesman told me to find and nail groove&not, i have found not in that brothel but i cant find groove anywhere

plz help, thanx
 
In the demo, science and repair only effect secondary quests which are both broken so aren't really needed. Sneak is far more important. Since they've made so much fuss about their stupid lights system it'll probably feature more heavily in the full campaign.

IIRC you can't repair the hummer because it's bounding box was bigger than the zone you had to stand in to work their silly lights system. So you could never actually stand in the right place to activate the triggers.

Likewise the one armed bandit, IIRC the way the triggers are set up you have to your repair guy already in front of the machine when you get the quest. The triggers are a one shot deal so the only way to do it is reload and get in position with your follower doing the talking.

Groove was on one of the other quest maps. You'll have to make a return visit to places you've already been.
 
i found him, didnt need those 2 quests after all, too bad the demo finished just when it got interesting... why is it 150 mb when it hasnt got more than 2 hours play??? i hope the final version will be just a patch because it took me long enough to download this...
 
Like Awaken most of the mod is gui changes, new movies and new sounds. Plus they've reused the default campaign worldmap, which is nearly 20 meg just by itself, rather than importing a smaller image.

Not including the world map the minimum amount of files actually needed to play the mod only add up to a few MB.
 
any news? i dont understand polish, so i cant read the vaulttec forum.
the "official site" hasnt been updated in 2 months.

Hey, does anyone play this? There's a lot of help for the Awaken, but I don't find anything about Darkfall.
I'm stuck with the Gina quest.
Is this thing dead?
Helooo, Capit... ehm, Tactics Wasteland, anyone there?

My Polish is not bad, but their site is... offered for sale?
