The leagues for the year 2041 have been completed in Darkwind, and the 2042 leagues (race, deathrace, combat) have started. This is a good time to get into the action and have a fighting chance of achieving league honours.

I just played me first race 10 min ago :D

:| I'm not gonna pay 20 bucks a month to race against AI!! Blah.. Seems like a really cool concept though.. I wish it wasn't P2P
 
No, the game is free !
You can play without paying !

BUT I just uninstalled it...

It's boring, it's damn slow...
 
We're still trying to build up the user base. You'll normally find the most activity in the evenings (USA time) and weekends.

It's free to compete in the leagues and ladders. You only need to pay to get involved in the wilderness action and to customize your own vehicles for the professional events.

Oh BTW it's not 20 bucks a month. It's more like 7.
 
I've been playing as a "freewheeler" (or is it freeloader?) and found it a blast. It's a great TB strategy game with excellent physics and fun criticals. The turns go fairly fast so the action is great. NPC drivers are fairly good but the real fun is racing/dueling with live players.
