Dumb Rumors

I'm collecting a large amount of widely spread rumors about Fallout 1 or 2. All those rumors that friends heard from "people" or "somewhere on the internet" or some other extremely lame excuse. Also, small rumors are okay, I want the ones that are definately fake to the ones that could be real. Because, personally, I think that these "secret item" rumors or the "secret ending" rumors are just ridiculous.That's why I want to collect a large number of them and just use geocities, or some other provider, to post ALL of them on. So people won't be tricked when they hear that your can get a "super avenger minigun" or some other fairly stupid or sneaky rumor that will end up wasting your time.
 
Well

One of the mst persistent and (for me) annoying rumors on fallout 2 started right at this site. Miroslav put up a pole about which movie in fallout 2 was the coolest. As a joke and to test the knowledge of people about fallout 2 he put "the secret alien spaceship movie" as one of the choices. Eversince we get asked about the secret alien spaceship on a regular bases.

Posted on Fallout2 board and on general board. After I looked at the list of all .mve files! Shame on me, shame... OH! OH OH OH! What about making a mod that will transform A CAR into AN U.F.O?! Huh? Huh? I COULD do that, but I'm afraid it would look weird.

Really?! He put up a pole? That must have been hard work, especially all by himself. Unless is wasn't a flagpole, in which case he could have done it easily.
