Edit/Add 'hidden' recruits

Well well. in the game there are certain recruits you cant ever has the hope to get. Such as Fleetfoot (tr05.ent), Slicer (tr04.ent), Seedee (rv04.ent), hardrive (rv03.ent), Frank (go04.ent).

Now we shall help you how to add those recruits to the pool, using the trusty FT editor and the formidable knowlege of all the people in this forum.

First, our honoured guest, Mr. requiem_for_a_starfury
Requiem, ( i can call you Requiem can i?) Would you, please, tell me how to add those recruits to the pool so that we can draw them out and using them as meat shield before the SAW fire of Super Mutants? PLEASE use the small words and step by step, because our viewers are not that good with FT editor as a veteran like you. KISS, you know.
 
Well I'm not sure why hardrive, Seedee and Frank don't show up I can't see anything wrong with them.

As for fleetfoot and slicer, open a bunker map, you haven't visited yet, in the level editor.

Press F7, and click on the button 'Triggers...' click the button 'New...' in the window that opens. Click 'New...' again (the tick should be in the box 'Conditions') and from the pull down list select 'Variable'.

Tick the box under 'Campaign:' and in the field under 'Variable:' type CVAR_M03_NPC_NANUK_FREE (exactly like that all caps). Then under 'Is Value:' type TRUE (again all caps) then click 'ok'.

Now click in 'Actions' (the tick will move across :) ) click 'New...' again and click on 'Center View' so that you get a pull down list. Scroll to the bottom and select 'Modify RecruitPool list' now under 'Tagname:' type mission03a and click 'ok'.

Save the map and when you enter that bunker you'll get those two recruits assuming you rescued Nanuk. If you didn't rescue Nanuk, use CVAR_M03_COMPLETE instead.

It appears to be down to the cam file, possible corruption. We know they must of edited it to add the blocking layer to the map (to prevent travelling across the great lakes) and there's a bug with creating new cam files causing the first mission to reset if reentered. Which doesn't happen with the default cam file, so perhaps they affected the recruit definitions while they were at it. Anyway if people reimport the recruit definitions into bos.cam it should fix the problem with Frank (and hopefully hardrive and seedee) but for you that won't help as the changes will only take effect when starting a new game.

Otherwise do as above but with Tagname mission06a & mission19 in the Modify RecruitPool list action.

EDIT: the above introduction is tested, good for Fleetfoot, Slicer and Frank. I havent tested with Reaver recruits so I wont report back yet.
