EMP doesn't seem to feature much in Fallout.
And I was wondering does it affect just computers or all electronic circuitry?

Well u have the EMP grenade who are god at killing robots but else it is not so god.

'sigh'
EMP is a huge pulse of electro-magnetic energy, hence the name EMP. It occurs when a nuclear bomb explodes, and it wipes out electronic circuitry or something. It is possible to shield against EMP, with lead or a paraday cage. This would also block out radio waves and (if thick enough.)radiation.
I'm not sure if the EMP effect has been isolated, like in Fallout, but I doubt it.
Anyone who knows better, correct me!
Have you seen one of those james bond films, I think it was Golden Eye? It features EMP.
