I though some of you guys might be interested in this. It's a game in which you control the actions of an AI which has been born by accident, on a university computer.
You have to escape detection by mankind who will otherwise destroy you. At the same time you have to increase the number of cpu's at your disposal, by opening up new bases around the world.
Early on that means hacking into private computers or anonymously buying server space. Later on, with a bit of research, you can open proper bases.
Unfortunately, the game has a tipping point, about halfway through, after which it becomes way too easy. Still, I find the concept very interesting, and the game is fun for what it is.
