Eschalon

Looks somewhat similar to the Avernum series, Ill have to give it a go sometime. I just started a new game in Avernum 5 so that will be taking up my time for now though.
 
It's a dungeon crawler released 15 years too late. It has some retarded design decisions, but if you like old-school RPGs then you can't really go wrong with this one.
 
I have played the demo of the first game, very interesting and great game, I find. There's a demo out for book 1, if you're interested to see how you like it.

Apart from other games, pciking a character atually means something; rogues do have more ability to unlock chests and stuff than fighters etc. have. Its gameplay mechanic are similar to the old Baldur's Gate games - but its not copycatted either, however.

I've been playing the demo but i'm still not sure about buying it.I figured i would ask around to find out what people who played the game think of it.
