Probably never tried EVE or even a "real" MMO. I know I was skeptical about MMO's and now after 3 weeks playing EVE I'm addict to it!DirtyDreamDesigner said:It sounded pretty intriguing for a whole of six seconds before I remembered that it was an MMO, and MMOs are for fags.

These are probably the top two reasons I quit playing. Any game that requires you to be so serious you need to know where the leader of your guild/corp/whatever is in RL is just too much.Unkillable Cat said:5: If you're in a corp, learn where the CEO lives in real life.
9: You'll never get anywhere with a single character on a single account.

EvE is notorious for having poor single player content. It's all about the PvP.
Also, the reason you don't make friends as easily is because the following are the top rules of EvE:
1: Don't trust anyone.
2: Do. Not. Ever. Trust. Anyone.
3: There is no such thing as a fair fight.
4: If it's too good to be true, it is.
5: If you're in a corp, learn where the CEO lives in real life.
6: The only time and place you're ever 100% safe is while you're docked in a station.
7: Stay out of Jita on the weekends.*
8: Always make sure your clone is up-to-date.
9: You'll never get anywhere with a single character on a single account.
10: There is no manual. You are on your own.
* Jita is the biggest trade hub in EvE. On any given time, there are (on average) 600 players in the system. A veritable hive of scum, villainy and lag. Lots and lots of lag.
