Fallout 1 and 2 Windows 64?

First time out of the vault
Ok Im confused as ever there are sooooo many unofficial patches and high resolution packs I don't know which one to do first and which one to do last!
I want Fallout 2 to run in high resolution @ 1680 x 1050 and I want the latest unofficial patch with the latest restoration mod and the latest Sfall mod. Is all of this possible running on:
SPECS
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2 GHz
GPU: EVGA 8800gts 320MB VRAM
RAM: 2 x 2048 DDR3 1600
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit
Is there also anyway to get the cut-scenes to not bug out?
I'm currently have it uninstalled ready to reinstall the old installer version this is not the DVD or the DOS I believe.
 
Get the Fallout 2 Hi-res from the downloads section while you can get the RP 1.2 from killaps site

The RP already contains his unofficial patch and Sfall so just download the RP ok?

btw sfall corrects the cutscene bugs (at least i think it does)
 
killap's Restoration Project includes both sfall and his unofficial patches (and, according to BR4ZIL below me, the official ones too); all you'll need is killap's RP 1.2, then F2 High-Res, installed in that order. Enjoy.

Thanks Guys, what about the unoffcial patch? Is it just

in that order? Or should the unofficial patch be included in there somewhere?

Also what about Fallout 1?

install them in that order and everything should be fine

about fallout 1, well if you just want the patches you should install TeamX's patches and if you want Wasteland Ghost's restoration patch

Well I want the cutscenes and the cinematic NPCs to work properly on both versions under Vista, is this possible?
 
you are asking too much from windows vista, my friend :P

but if you use sfall on F2 it will fix the cutscenes, i dont know about F1

my advice is : CHANGE TO WINXP OR WIN7 :shock:, but seriously, vista is not compatible with a lot of games (not just old ones)

EDIT: forgot to tell ya that sfall comes with the RP 1.2 so no need to download that
 
Cutscenes and talking heads in both games work fine for me with sfall (RP 1.2 for F2, and just TeamX patches for F1), and I'm running Vista 64.
 
OK so let me get this straight:
Install Fallout 1
Install TeamX Patches

Install Fallout 2
Install RP 1.2
Install High Res Patch or is this one included in RP as well as Sfall?

Also one last thing, I'm running a Quad Core @ 3.2 GHz should I disable 3 of the cores in set affinity?

I never had any issues on my quad resulting from multiple cores.
