Fallout 1997 Box Variations

Didn't the first edition 1997 Fallout have an embossed cover?

And the subsequent editions had a flat surface over all with no embossed front. It's driving me mad that I cannot find proof of this.

Is thread bumping allowed? I'm still very curious to know the answer to this.

I was wondering what you were talking about.
So I checked out my first edition NA box and the powerarmor helmet is slightly embossed so it's raised above the rest of the front. As is the Fallout logo itself.
Never noticed this before now, good catch
