Fallout 3 is one of five titles nominated for the Writers Guild of America Videogame Writing Award. This is an award exclusive to WGA members and only available for games with specific credits for writing, which is the only way I can explain the bizarre list of nominees: Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble!, Fallout 3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Tomb Raider: Underworld.

My 5,000 word review of Fallout 3 is almost done.

After 2 months of procrastination and a hundred hours of playing the mess, I've finally stopped going insane long enough to actually put words to paper.
 
I am playing fallout 3 again, and my impression of its writing is not bad. It is worse than fallout 1, but it is still decent. The only other game I have played is Red Alert 3, with has decent writing too. But these two games show that the games of today with the best writing were the games of yesterday with mediocre writing.

actually, I googled it, wikipediad it (?), and just found their site.
Too lame, I could bet that had naked girls or something like that to attract the attention of the guys at WGA, but no, it looks thats its just stupid, and Christian.
 
I heard of Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! before, it didn't sound interesting. I visited the site and the retro-30s style is cool I guess, but other than that, eh.

Define writing.

The dialogue varies from mediocre to facepalmingly bad. The plot is horrendous. The characterization is spotty.

Eww, sounds bad, but sounds like something that could win a WGA award. I bet it's something about heathen high-school girls awakened to the true meaning of the love of God :roll:

Actually, makes me understand more as to why FO3 was nominated - after all most of its writing is a mediocre story with ridiculously religiously presented decisions - I mean, American writers loooove that shit.

HAHA calms down guys! I just said Christian because I didn't saw any naked female human. I didn't found any reference to Judaic-Christian religions.
