Fallout 3 & Penny Arcade Comics

edit: I'm not joking at all. I'm completely ambivalent about what anyone on TES forums thinks about anything.
 
And the next episode in the yawnfest is up ...

Probably has been since Wednesday, but did not see it before today, and judging by the lack of activity in this thread, nobody cares anymore.

It is so slow and so lacking of "ha, ha, ha" ...
 
I can see it becoming somewhat funny, but posting one strip once a week just kills it. it's too easy to forget it even exists and it's really hard to keep interest up that way.

Exactly.

I bet it reads pretty well if you just leaf through it as a single comic, as the Bethesda guys did. Presented like this it's just major yawn.

Not really. I mean, the premise is hilarious, but so far, that's all there is to it. And yes, I read the lot for the first time just now.

Yups. If it was a comic it'd be about 2 pages worth. It's a strip though...

But yes, it's too early to tell. Or maybe the puppets just aren't speaking to me :D
 
I hope they leave the vault soon. that way it could become interesting and open up for a good/funny story. if they stay in there I can't see it getting anywhere.
 
Can they just show them all? Showing them with weeks of gaps between another one is just pointless. Most of them have no sense.

On the general topic about the comic; i agree with the opinion that the whole comic is actually nice in a grim sort of way but this bit by bit business just kills it.

On a related topic to Penny Arcade; isn't it ironic or weird that 2 guys who generally spend their time bashing games generally and promoting their personal favorites, webcomicking (sp?/is there a verb like this even?)/blogging essentially, are the hosts to one of the the largest multi platform/multi company game convention on this sad little grey-(Used coffee filter brown)-blue ball? It just makes my trust in the suits that control the gaming industry soar...

exactly how much time do you waste reading one strip once a week? I'm sure you do a lot of other things that waste more time, no?
