Fallout 4 and 4Gb of RAM

First time out of the vault
Has somebody tried Fallout 4 with only 4Gb of RAM? Im currently saving to complete the 8GB, but it could take a couple of months or more. I have the chance now to buy the RAM, but probably I would have to pay an extra and I would like to save that for a new PSU. So far I have managed to play several games that demand 8gb, like Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition, but I dont know if I can force Fallout 4 to run with so little memory.

Ram doesn't seem to be all that important. I have 4GB of ram, but terrible CPU and so I have very low framerates and it spikes like crazy, sometimes it's steady-ish 30, sometimes it's close to 0. And the close to part 0 is quite frequent...

Well, then my PC will do. Probably with all settings to low, but I will be able to play. Thanks!

Yeah performance problems in general are a thing but you shouldn't worry about RAM I don't think

It's common for Bethesda Games to run like shit at first, then after a year or so the devs and unofficial mods start to clean the game's dirty and lazy written code and then , surprisingly the game gains more or less 40 FPS without even changin the graphics. It was like this with my old rig when running Skyrim, it's pretty much what's happening now with Fallout 4.
