Fallout: New Vegas + DLC -50% Fallout -66% on Steam

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
Today kicked off the last daily deal for Bethesda's QuakeCon sales, and as probably many of you expected, it's time for the Fallout franchise (or rather, the Bethesda-published part of the franchise) to shine, with Fallout: New Vegas and its DLCs 50% off which makes them $/€9.99 and $/€4.99 respectively and Fallout 3 both normal, GotY edition and DLCs 66% off which makes it $/€9.99 for the GotY edition and $/€6.75 and $/€1.69 respectively for the base edition and DLCs, just in case you really don't want to play Mothership Zeta.

So for less than $25 you can have the whole Beth FO collection? That's like half the price of, say, FO3 when it first came out, right?

Man, things lose their value quickly these days.

Tell me about it, it usual a couple of months after the release already making me wonder why I actually buy games in the days after it first released.

Exception seems the Nintendo games and the Halo games which remain ridiculously expensive for at least a year.

And FPS's like Call of Duty. I think Modern Warfare 2 is still $50-60 today, and it came out years ago.

Seems like it's a good day to not have Paypal accounts or an international credit card. Fucking Banks.

Yep, there are -some- game studios who really think their games are worth more than the average AAA title... *cough* Infinity Ward *cough* Bioware *cough* Blizzard *cough* Bethesda.

Coincidentally, those companies also make some shitty games currently, compared to how they did when they were charging legit prices back in the day.

well i was thinking of picking up borderlands goty, im pretty sure thats the one with all the dlc as its $30 now

I never did that except for Arcanum. As for the rest, I was happy to pick up a second hand copy of Fallout. I enjoyed paying €9,95 for Diablo 2 and €4,95 for Lord of Destruction, knowing this was kick-ass software. I enjoyed paying €4,95 for AoE Collector's Edition, knowing I was buying kick-ass games for next to nothing. And so on.

Patience is a virtue. And it can save you heaps of money.
