this idea it's very simple, and should be for the original fallout fans, the ones that liked the furst one and afraid from any changes that might acurrd in fo3.

it would be the same fo1 but with all the tachnical add-ons that fo2 had:
>the ability to push people
>the ability to modify you're NPCs
>the "trade" ability with you're NPCs
>there must be more that i forgot

that's the idea, but more cut-scenes would be nice and mybe some other stuff

well, whatchya think?
 
I think that it would not be of any interest to Interplay. however they could release a source code for fallout, as it it out of date engine, it may help us get some custom patches. just like the mapping tool (maybe scripting, epends how they do it)

i knew from the buigining that my idea isn't realistic, and i'm waiting mybe they'll relise and editor
 
and how do u think to edit a game like fallout, this goes further than only map creating, lets take a quest for example where people all over the wastes will react different either on completion or not completing it. and how would u create riddles like the reactor one in gecko, sorry i´d like to do add-ons to fallout and play add-ons other people create just to be back on the road again in post nuclear california but it happens to be that an rpg like fallout is no strategy or ego-shooter title, as sad as it is but for this we´d all be better off if these were our favourite games at least for availability of editors :)
 
but it's a good idea...

fallout editor is a good idea you know? Especially that BiS will start fallout 3 with new engine, so i think the old angine will abondend...so maybe we can have some editor from BiS, so that we can create new creature, maybe new quest or new town...all of that is just for fun.

I agree, but they should also make FO3 if they made both it would kick ass
