Fanfiction/Ideas of a Fallout New Vegas Prequel set in 2101, with the Desert Rangers

First time out of the vault
The Last Few Weeks, I had been thinking of an Idea of a Fan thing where in the ruins of Las Vegas in 2101, the Desert Rangers make their presence know to the pre-Mr House Renewal of Las Vegas.

I'm not sure if this would fit the thread, but since it is a fan fiction.

Basic Outlines:
- "New Vegas" does not exist, it's set in the ruins of Post Riot (Since the bombs never fell on LV anyway) and Mr. House is in a Coma, because of this, The Lucky 38 is nothing more than a background building.
- Places such as Hidden Valley, and Black Mountain are overridden with a Rouge US Army Remnants, called the "Guardians", led with the ideology to clean the wastes of muties, and tech (In Other Words, an Enclave-type force
- Vault 11, and Vault 22 are freshly abandoned/ruined, so there is much more loot, in there.
- However other vaults such as 3, 21, and 34 are still background buildings, however the desert rangers would visit
- Super Mutants, and Centaurs are non-existent, however Ghouls, Radscorpions and Wannamingos take up those niches
- The Desert Ranger group is made up of Tycho's Grandfather, and Young Father of Tycho, along with
- Nellis Air Base is Irradiated, but might have some tech.
- The NCR, Legion and BoS are also non existent (the Bos are just Non-Existent in this region)
- US Army Deathclaws and Cazadores are existent, but have extremely small populations.
- The Adventure would start in a Ranger Southhouse (By New Vegas, the Caesar's legion Safehouse) and go as north as Amargosa Valley
- Primm, Goodsprings and Novac are empty, if not, have very few people living in them. Instead the Underpass (Small Town north of Vegas Ruins), Nelson, Nipton, Bonnie Springs, Pahrump and Sandy Valley replace them.
- Radiation from the Global Radiative rain (One Week after the war) has turned most areas irradiated, even though it has been 34 years.
- Overall the Fanfiction would be like a mix of Wasteland 1 and Fallout 3/1/2.
- A Lot more Pre-War Weapons are scattered in the land, compared to the Homemade, Blueprint and/or Gun Runner weapons of the 2280's. Because of this Energy Weapons are More powerful, and less common

The Factions:
- Mafia Remnants - Remnants of the original Gomorrah Owners, similar to the mordinos, only they don't invest in money or gambling. Ancestors of the Gomorrah Faction in NV.
- The Guardians - Holing themselves up in Hidden Valley, Helios One, and Black Mountain, think of them as the Enclave, but with Combat Armor Mk.I, and Bullet Fed Weapons. Made up of US Army Remnants.
- US Army Remnants - Coming out of Fort Mohave, they're main base of operations, along with another Military Base near Mojave National Preserve, and Desert Hills, they are a Good aligned faction, different to the Guardians.
- The Boot Riders - Tribal-Mafia type Gang, Neutral Aligned. Ancestors of the Chairmen
- Vultures - the Ancestors of the Fiends, they are the Survivalist Faction that dominates The West, North and Eastern parts of New Vegas, they are also currently maintaining Northside, made up of what would become North Vegas Square, Freeside, and Westside. Chems were rarer (a shit load rarer) back then.
- Cannibals - Operating in and outside of the Ruins of the Ultra-luxe they kill and hunt their rivals, for sport and food.
- Desert Rangers - Survivalists, Rangers and Soldiers, Main Character's Faction, nuff said.
- Servants of the Mushroom Cloud - They Operate in Hoover Dam, were they worship an Undetonated Nuclear Bomb in the Old Salvation Church
- The Spades, the most advanced, evil faction, made of thugs, mercs, raiders and allied with the Guardians, led by a fat fuck called Fred. They Operate in the Ruins of Boulder City, The Ruined Dice, and The Tops Casinos, and have Sentry Bots, Protectrons, Tribal Snipers, and Captured Radscorpions running around trying to ruin a survivalist's day. By 2281, the Spades have very little evidence of their existance remaining.

Other Sakes of Stuff & Refs to NV/Wasteland/Other Stuff:
- Snake Squeezins is a new wasteland party time thing, get an irradiated rattle snake, and you've got yourself some venomous fun.
- Rumors in Underpass are going around saying, and old man was a Vault Dweller, which in that Vault, someone was forced to die each year.
- Vickers, an Old Yangtze Capaign Soldier, has gone to Zion, to start anew to somewhere without Radiation, even though he never joined the Desert Rangers, he was the one, who taught many Desert Ranger Trainers Military Tactics.
- Even Though
- According to old Records from Base Mojave in Bullhead City, Hidden Valley's pre-war name was "Base Cochise"

Tell Me what you guys and gal's think of this.

It sounds like it could be a fun game, hopefully more fun than New Vegas was. It just depends on what the dynamics between the factions are. Like can I only be a Ranger, or can I turn on them and join the remnants? Also what happens to the remnants by 2274 when the NCR shows up? Did they just move farther north into Nevada or Utah?

Sorry for the late reply.

You are a new member (you can choose your own lore, and are between say 18-55) so you can choose to turn on your own fellow rangers (although at this point the history of the DR are already chosen)

The Remnants indeed would got to the north say Northern Nevada and Utah, and Colorado.
