Well as promised the Fbos forums have opened, actually three of them. Go here for them. One of them is a good one, I'll let Krazikatt (the leather godess!) explain:<blockquote>This forum is the one and ONLY area you will be allowed to speak your mind (to a degree) about Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Make sure you do it maturely, tastefully, and don't break the rules while you're doing it.

This is where you can voice your opinions only. If we see you bashing, name calling, cussing, or doing anything else immature, offensive or questionable, your thread will either be locked or deleted and you will be issued a warning or be banned.

The official rules are here:

The (High) Road, Less Traveled

K-Katt say.....
.......vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening....Humour of an obscene or sexual nature....Racism, sexism, xxx-isms: Do not engage in blatant sexism, racism or similar, this includes, but is not limited to hateful comments based on.......

If one presumes it's "only a game", and only entertainment with a M-17 badge of honor, then the irony of these excellent rules of the road (we all travel), is only a cute nod and a wink.

I'm waiting for the "other", steel toed, 5 inch heel, "shoe" to drop.

Sometime this Q4....

Ignoring the sexploitation in the last FO:BOS trailer, is there a game in the box? Will the fans of BG:DA be able to play "Gauntlet With Guns"?

Is there game content beyond the sexual content?

Are we allowed to go there?

Faced with a reduced market for goods and pressured by British abolitionists, the British reduced their imports of cotton from the United States, which weakened the southern economy even more.[citation needed] The tariff forced the South to buy manufactured goods from U.S. manufacturers, mainly in the North, at a higher price, while southern states also faced a reduced income from sales of raw materials.[citation needed] Despite the sufferings of the South, the US experienced net economic growth with US GDP increasing from $888 million in 1828 to $1.118 billion by 1832 largely due to growth of the Northern manufacturing base.[9] Current Vice-President John C. Calhoun strongly opposed the tariff, anonymously authoring a pamphlet in December 1828 titled: The South Carolina Exposition and Protest in which he urged nullification of the tariff within South Carolina.[10] The South Carolina legislature, although it printed and distributed 5,000 copies of the pamphlet, took none of the legislative action that the pamphlet urged.[11] The expectation of the tariff’s opponents was that with the election of Jackson in 1828, the tariff would be significantly reduced.[12][13] When the Jackson administration failed to address its concerns, the most radical faction in South Carolina began to advocate that the state itself declare the tariff null and void within South Carolina.[citation needed] In Washington, an open split on the issue occurred between Jackson and Vice-President Calhoun.[13][14][15] On July 14, 1832, Jackson signed into law the Tariff of 1832 which made some reductions in tariff rates.[citation needed] Calhoun resigned on December 28 of the same year.[16] The reductions were too little for South Carolina. In November 1832 the state called for a convention.[citation needed] By a vote of 136 to 26, the convention overwhelmingly adopted an ordinance of nullification drawn by Chancellor William Harper.[citation needed] It declared that the tariffs of both 1828 and 1832 were unconstitutional and unenforceable in South Carolina.[citation needed] While the Nullification Crisis would be resolved in early 1833, tariff policy would continue to be a national political issue between the Democratic Party and the newly emerged Whig Party for the next twenty years.[citation needed]

I thought banning owners of Fallout fan sites is one of their rules?
I mean, we are a negative community and they don't like us. :(

It couldn't be worse than DA:Beach Volleyball, that's for sure.

Anyway, as the particular slogan goes, IMO it just sounds stupid. But don't judge a book by it's cover, we could all be sitting one a real gaming gem here.

Who knows?

I'll not pass any judgement upon the game before it's released. I'll play it, and then make up my mind.

Now thats what I call priceless! :D

Saying "I was born just after the bombs dropped" sounds really catchphrase-y, so I'm just guessing that it's marketing's fault.

I guess someone finaly noticed. :P

Well, I'm sure as hell not going to give you a warning! ;) Still, I don't think railing about FO:BoS helps us get any closer to Fallout 3 which, if we were all honest, is what we really want to see. I know I do. FO:BoS is just another console title. I don't think there was ever a chance they'd ever adhere to the Fallout bible.

Anyhow, Odin, you keep posting your opinion. I just hope that you guys don't go into vendettahood. It's not worth it. With the prize right in front of you, some of the venom you spit at FO:BoS will undoubtedly fall on Van Buren.

Oh, and for the record, the sex comment was dumb and they really should have handled the situation with RPGCodex, NMA, and DAC better than they did.

I was trying to tiptoe on broken glass to get some answers. ANY kind of explanation of why they did what they did would be nice. No such luck. I must not be making myself visible enough. I think I'll start ending all my questions in that forum with ",pricks?" and maybe they'll start responding.

They gave me a warning for refering to FO:BOS as FO:POS.....

Stupid nubs  They are obvisouly the newbies since they do not show respect to any of the "important" people who periodicaly visit the forums I.E. This guy went whack on Pip-Boy from Unwashed.....

Best to ignore the new forums there. I really doubt that most posters there will be more than 15y/o.
