FFCON BMP problem

Hello. I need to modify AAF font. A use program FFCON, but it says

"Not VALID BMP for convert"

Did anyone successfuly modified it ? It seems mspaint isn't good program for this...

Check out the format of your BMP, it must be 8-bit for successful conversion. Yours is probably 24-bit...

It's 8bit. I only edit output BMP file from FFCON with MSPAINT. I need to modify $ char to something else.

Never heard of GIMP or some other free picture editing software? Try it and find something that suits your needs, forget THE Paint.

Yeah, and Photoshop is _so_ cheap that everyone can afford it, especially if you used the standard Paint before

Actaully for some work on FRMs MSPaint is really good (pixel editing and that sort of thing)

I use a combination of:
- MSPaint
- Gimp
- Paint.Net

Paint.Net is probably a good place to start, it's free and its really easy to use, whereas Gimp can be a little daunting.
