First Fallout 3 Wallpaper

First time out of the vault
I though these boards deserve to have this wallpaper posted first. It's a retouch to the Game Informer's July cover, enjoy!

 
First, the font isn't that good. Second, the photoshop thingie behind it looks cheap.

Then, there's something strange with it. Have you been toying with the contrast? It looks a little pixely in some places. Otherwise it's pretty neat

So, change the font to something better looking and rethink the design some, and try to get a higher resolution of the picture. I like my desktop picture to be crisp.
 
All valid points. Yes I did Photoshop this rather quickly on the low resolution GI's cover they posted couple of days ago, with the only Fallout font (Fallouty) I have at the moment.

The different contrast/sharpening was intended for effect, but might not show decent on some monitors.

Any suggestions where I can get the original Fallout font (besides the Fallouty one)?

Oh, damn... I didnt' realize it, because its' so big... The large size makes it look crappy.
 
I had some free hours and still have several left before my plane leaves this god forsaken island (it is Island actually) so I took the liberty to make my own version of the background. Hope you don't mind.

Now where did you get that Font? Been looking for it everywhere! :twisted:
 
Me? Cutting, and pasting. Would like to own the font too.
