Broken Hills Ending

I don't get it. I repaired their mine and put the humans in jail, and I donated some ore to the refinery. But I still got the ending "the mine in broken hills wore out and everybody leaves, making the city nothing but a ghosttown" or something like that. Why?

Well, you gave the answer yourself. Think about this. BH is a town that lives on uranium ore and nothing else. If the ore runs out (meaning they can not mine it anymore) the people living there have no way of surviving and they will move to another location.

Then the good ol' fighting occurs, and the survivors leave the area.

All the endings I've gotten for Broken Hills have been bad. Like you said. even if you do all of the above the Uranium still runs out and the people leave. If you dont do anything about the humans a war breaks out and the mine is destroyed. If you side with the humans then they lure the mutants into the mine and destroy the mine with the mutants inside. You can guess what happens to them in the end.

Those are the endings I've gotten for Broken Hills. Dont know if there are anymore though.
