Marcus - Chris Avallone ???????

In a fight (dunno which one exactly, I'm around NCR now - think it whas while killing robo guards in Military Base) Marcus said, while entering combat : "Chris Avallone loves you!"

????

Wasn't Avallone that Mercenary outside the Boneyard in FO1?
Other than that I have no idea why Marcus would say it.

It's a sort of an in-joke... See Chris Avellone is one of the game designers of Fallout 2.

Don't remember if he was also the voice of Marcus himself and Frank Horrigan... Could be, but not sure (would've verified but wasn't in the manual and I don't have a savegame at the end...)

Oh yeah, now that you said it I seem to be remembering likewise... Well, Chris was propably just adding a bit of flavor to the combat taunts while scripting Marcus.

(There are quite a few of interesting combat taunts out there)
