Hrmm... how can I sleep with the Maria lady in Modoc without her father going nuts and shooting me? I can always sleep with his son, despite what sex I chose to be.

If you have an open slot for an npc to tag along, there will be and extra set of dialogue options. If you keep just talking to her, she will throw herself at you. You are then forced to marry her, and she joins your party.

After you marry her let her die in combat. She is such and annoying ahole that I took pleasure in seeing her die. Also it is good to free up another npc slot for some one much better then that hag.
