You run some config utility FOconfig, switch from Russian to English and set the port in it... At least that's what I did.

yeah me too but its the life after .01 version, and no one speaks English >.> only the txt does and the damn turrents keep killing me.

By default the client is prepared to play on server FOnline: The Life After. To switch to FOnline: 2238 change in configuration utility IP address to 94.103.87.42 port 2238 and start FOnline.exe/FonlineDx9.exe with param "-RemoteHost 94.103.87.42 -RemotePort 2238".

but simply the splash screen does not even appear

all i did was changed the ip addess to 94.103.87.42 and then port to 2238 then i saved and played.
