Maybe this seems stupid, but hey, I felt like posting it. Heh.. would it sell well?

What, like Pokemon? Maybe. And we'll get an animated series, billion-dollars worth of merchandise, trading cards, 2 movies - Wasteland would be the talk of the land! And then people will say:"Wasteland?! Shut up! It sucks!" And when someone will nick-name himself "Chosen One", people will tell him he's a retard, 5y.o., and should get a life.

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Nov-07-00 AT 04:51PM (GMT)[p]no no but there would be cards too, and then counterfieting and then we could all get into big arguements over whats better wasteland blue or yellow. haha, you take the cake APTYP

HEY ! I like wasteland !

But game boy ....hmmmmm...

Nahhh!

I would be graet if you could access the game from within fallout. Kinda like you can play Maniac Mansion from the game Day of the tentacle when you get to a certain room on a specific computer.
Or just as an add-on, like on the same CD it`s only 144Kb big(small?)

"I`M Ugly and you`re not!"

Where the hell do you think that i took my sig and nickname?

That would be great! I mean, I loved it when I discovered that there was an ENTIRE MM on DotT CD!

Also, I didn't play Pokemon too much (like maybe 2 minutes), but it seems its similar to Wastelands in many aspects. But I think Wastelands is too mature and gritty to be released on a platform that disgraced itself by giving birth to such abomination as Pokemon.

DotT was a pretty cool game. I liked how it had complete voices instead of just text.

Well Pokémon itself isn't bad, it's the kids who drool over it that are pathetic. I mean have you seen those commericials on TV? Some no-friends kid is acting like a total nerd, and spouting off his knowledge about Pokémon from evolution aspects to testical size like a Trekkie does with Star Trek.

If it wasn't for the franchising, Pokémon would only be looked at as a cute card game that little kids (and some older kids) play. However now it's viewed as a totally lame game because kids are so fanatical about their cards that they'll knife each other, or watch the zero-star rated movie four times to get a free card.

It's like a gun. Don't blame the gun, blame the people using the gun.

Most of those card games are Magic:The Gtaherinng ripoffs (or, if they are published by wizards of the coast, spinoffs).
And magic went downhill ever since they released the 5th edition. Hell, they even put on a card if it's common, uncommon or rare ! That just totally sucked the fun out of the trading part. I stopped playing the game when the shop where I used to play it was invaded by kids who where at least 2 foot shorter than me.

I stopped playing after Alliances. They were putting out too many expansion sets that it simply wasn't worth continuing. Plus with the total exclusion of old sets of cards and the republishing of what-used-to-be rare and expensive cards from old sets, the game simply wasn't worth it anymore. I've still got tons of cards, but never do anything with them..

Haha... sorry, but that's pretty funny. I've seen one in a store here (sweden), and the price was approx. the equivalent of 1000 USD.
