Gamespot Preview of POS

hah, hope you can edit thread titles, there.

"Fallout fans will find that this game is fairly faithful to the spirit of the series, except for the relentless use
of profanity in its dialogue"

absolutely. prediction holding true, scores haven't risen above mediocre

That's really sad - it must be one of the first games released in 2004, but it's ranked at 19 for 2004 PS2 releases. Sometimes I almost feel sorry for this game.

Nah, Sports games always sell well, no matter how crappy they are. The "Street" designation also means alot of "urban" video game players will pick it up, and the past track record with NBA Street, might mean NFL Street will sell pretty well.

Its like using the NBA Street name to sell copies, like Fallout: BOS is using the Fallout name in an attempt to sell copies.

Of course EA Sports does make good sports games, so NFL Street might actually be worth a gander.

Xbox Scores

Xbox scpres are looking Decisively Worse, heres the link
http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/589789.asp

But while Im looking at it now, Xbox Addict (The only review noted at this stage) gave it only 50%, and its 52nd for 2004 Xbox releases.... Ive clicked through, at it appears to be absent of comparisons to fallout, it compares with Baldurs Gate: DA. It seems Generation console is also not impressed.

GameRankings can be pretty good for reviews, but they can sometimes be a week or so late. It's good to use them when you want to find some obscure review sites, although GameRankings can be asinine in itself by putting focus on the dreaded "Overall Score" fallacy.
