Antediluvian as Feck

Play the campaigns as a Thief leader; the additional city options are worth it.
Okay, I will put it on my wish list and wait for it to go on sale and then buy it.Get it on sale, 60 bucks is a tad overpriced in my opinion.
I got it a little bit after release and really enjoyed it.
It was actually the far future chapter. I'm a fan of Alien and Aliens, so it was pretty cool that the whole chapter was an homage to the first movie (mixed with 2001 Space Oddysey with a rouge AI). Plus it was nice to have a chapter that does something different than the other chapters, keeps things fresh. What has been your favorite storyline so far?
That was also an interesting story and I enjoyed it a lot going the first time through it. Indeed a very good mix of both Alien and 2001.It was actually the far future chapter. Cube was definitely in my party in the final chapter, it's a pretty damn busted character.
It's a tanky character with high damage and it can also heal. My party was the cowboy, the ninja and cube, made short work of the final chapter. Its been a while since I played Live A Live so I don't recall if Cube was overpowered or not.
Getting a bundle remake with 2 that comes out this October, definitely getting that. I think old NES games are some of the best examples for modern remakes, specially if they are in a long running series, just to see how it is with all the improvements of the sequels.Oh damn, Dragon Quest. I have forgotten about those. The first one for NES is the first RPG I've ever played I think.
What I found comical was that at the start of the game it failed to load a model for one of the NPCs, all I saw was his hat floating in the air.Got Robocop Unfinished Business. It's more of the same stuff that made the original great, but it seems at least the PC port has a myriad of technical issues like stuttering, framerate drops, texture pop-in, and just models loading in the middle of cutscenes. They should have delayed it honestly.
If you're a fan of the original but still haven't gotten this standalone expansion, i would wait for patches to come in.
The cutscene where Robocop reaches the OmniTower took forever to load, character models had only their floating head for like thirty seconds. Kind of funny, but really jarring and disappointing that they released the game like this. What I found comical was that at the start of the game it failed to load a model for one of the NPCs, all I saw was his hat floating in the air.
Mission where you play as Alex Muprhy. How far are you by now?
Been wanting to get Trepang2 because I liked FEAR so much. FEAR's AI isn't really all that advanced, it just does things it should do but it also makes you aware of what they intend to do. Enemies say things like "make some fucking cover" or "fall back" and other shit like that while doing those actions so it feels more advanced than it is.Currently playing Trepang2 and so far it's been a blast with its over the top slow motion combat. I eventually plan to play F.E.A.R. as it was the biggest inspiration for the game. From what I've heard F.E.A.R. was memorable and praised for its advanced AI along with its over the top slow mo violence. The biggest drawback I faced from Trepang2 is the engine it uses since UE4 is demanding, which doesn't even look good in medium setting while still getting some occasional stutters.
I actually thought it was pretty good and had an overall great time. Really my biggest issue was the technical issues, this expansion should have been delayed to deal with the stuttering, framerate drops and models taking forever to load.I just finished Robocop Unfinished Business. All and all it was an okay experience marred with some graphical glitches such as pop ins that should be addressed by the developers.
Its definitely an expansion for people who liked the original game and would like to see more of it.
As I mentioned before in my other post about this game, it started to get a little repetitive after a while, and I needed a break to do something else to refresh my interest in playing and finishing the game.
Playing Alex Murphy before he became Robocop was okay but I am not sure if we should have been playing Miranda or the mercenary lieutenant. Basically its an interactive cut scene.
Sure it tells us more about these characters, Miranda more than the lieutenant whose plotline feels like it was tacked on as it did not add much to the general story.
I think the biggest highlight of playing other roles is when the player gets to play an ED-209. Playing as a murder machine was surprisingly fun as we get to stomp through waves and waves of mercenaries, making them experience what Kinny experienced when an Ed-209 goes all lethal on them
Now if I have to compare Unfinished Business with Teyon's Terminator Annihilation Line, I think I enjoyed that game a bit more even if it was also more Terminator Resistance.
I guess the open world maps appeal to me more.
Not to say that I think Unfinished Business is bad, but now that I have played I don't think I want to go through it again.
