Hows this for you? My game crashes, when I go down the stairs to the bottom level of the Enclave Oil Platform! It performs an illegal operation and spits this at me.

This has happened before but I have since completed the game. Yes its patched yes I tried reinstalling it, I have tried everything. The only thing that did it last time was not playing the game for a month. Does anyone know what all that crap means and how I can fix it?

Before playing the game try pressing control-alt-delete in windows when the screen comes up select explorer, tell the machine you dont want to shutdown and wait a minute when it asks you if you want to "end task" select yes, wait again till windows comes back up what this does is it frees up all your system space from fucked up windows damned microsoft...it might work it has for me with other problems

Hmm. Ive done that before by accident. I didnt notice any difference but it cant hurt and by this point Im willing to go for anything, Ill give it a try.

No, I did have another idea though. *Beats Fallout 2 with a baseball bat*

ok, ill strat from the begining, those number are adresses in windows memory, they are the places were the info is stocked in the ram memory, what you have here, is that fallout is trying to write info in a adress that already has info on it...
try ending all yuor programs, when you play fallout (leave explorer and systray)
Another thing to do is to go look in yuor registry for invalid entries, but you probably dont know how to do this, soo just get a program that does it for you, like norton utilitys, the manual way is better, but just isntall norton utilitys 2000, and it ill get the job done.

Man isn’t that what I just said?! Shutting down explorer cleans the ram of all drivers except those most critical to OS operations, dumbshit!
