Graphics Issue

I just bought Fallout 1 and 2 in a box set. I know it is version 1.1. I've searched all over trying to figure out how to fix the graphics. Some parts show up nice. Others the color is all messed up. I tried the high res patch. Didn't work. I tried another patch from interplay.com/fallout and that didn't work. I don't know if I'm not patching it correctly or if it's just not the issue. I am running Windows 7. I've also seen people say something about changing the ddraw.ini file, but that file DOES NOT EXIST. It is nowhere to be found after I install Fallout 1. I only have a DATA folder, EREG folder, CRITTER.DAT, fallout.cfg, falloutw.exe, MASTER.DAT, README.TXT, and uninst.log. Of course the folders have other stuff in them, but these are the main ones. Please any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried Palette Stealer Suspender? That did the trick for me on Win 7.

I reckon ddraw.ini only exists if you're using Sfall or some mod that incorporates it.
