GTA vs RL

Thanks guys! My real friends weren't all that impressed by this project. They just don't get it.

I have to admit the Wikipedia article on Los Santos was a big help. Still there were stuff I missed or couldn't do (the LAX theme building for example was being remodeled). Then again there's stuff that unexpectedly caught my eye while I was driving around, like the 99cents store. And I'm sure my L.A. friend, who was following in his car behind me one evening, won't forget when I suddenly swerved across two lanes to park next to the giant donut shop.

Do it. I had a better time than I expected. There's so much to do around the city, day and night. The weather is perfect (stays steady around 77F/25C with no humidity), the coastline is beautiful, and the supply of asian girls is more than satisfactory.

You gotta do it right though, as in the more GTA-style the better. Rent a car with a navigation system and drive with total disregard for human life. You won't be the only one, believe me.

Oh yeah, well I don't find your Gordon Freeman looks attractive anymore.

How long did that take?

As I said, I spent a week there and I spent every day/evening in a different part of the city. So as I was going around and taking photos I also kept an eye out for GTA landmarks. So it took a week, but all of those areas can be covered in 24 hours if you know where they are. Remember this is just Los Santos, it doesn't include San Fierro (San Francisco) or Las Venturas (Las Vegas)
