Naah, it should have read "The Norwegian Team has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". Damn dopers, we had like 2-3 people that got caught because they had taken illegal substances....

wow... 2-3? Dammit, like all of the bulgarian wightlifting team was banned. I bet like half the americans were doped too, but they just use some hi-tech dope that isn't detected (yet). I guess most people know that almost everyone in the olympics today uses some kind of doping. It's just the stupid ones that get caught.

It's really sad about all these dopers, the really ruin it for the rest of the people. Take for example that Romanian gymnist who was given Sudafed (sp?) for her flu and was stripped of her gold medal from the gynmastics all around, the most prestigious gold medal you can achieve in gymnastics. In fact the entire Romanian team swept the all-around but they all returned the medals in protest to the ruling. The sad thing is that the girl who had her medal stripped was so devastated from the whole incident that she's given up gymnastics.

Another legitimate carrier ruined by doping athletes... bastards.

Maybe it'll work out for the best though. Many athletes die young because they push their bodies to the limits. Top sports isn't as healthy as it seems.

"Pain is temporary, glory is forever, and chronic injuries are permanent."

I figure she should be able to keep it. After all she *already* earned it and she only had it taken away because of a stimulant even her *doctor* was not aware of inside some common cold medicine. In addition, what kind of advantage would that stimulant provide in leu of the fact that she had the flu which severely hampers the body.

It's those damned druggers.
