Yeah ... if only. We're all somewhat driven by our emotions even those that claim they are not or say they only believe in facts. I like to think that I am some one who's mostly driven by facts and rationality but I guess most of the time it's not the case. Besides when it comes to "guns" everyone has his own facts and maybe some study which confirms their points or bias or what ever. I would say pretty much everyone in this has VERY strong emotions and there is nothing wrong with that. Be it the people that defend their second amendment or the ones that want more gun regulations. All I am saying is you can find gun owners, republicans, hunters and even gun fanatics out there which might agree to better laws and regulations regarding weapons. Again the picture here is not as black and white here as some like to paint it. What we're right now doing is always and constantly looking at the 'extreme' positions in those debates which is in my opinion completely crazy. Where one sides acts like guns are the root and cause of all problems and the others think the constitution was written for protecting guns and not people.
And I am not saying you give up your opinion I just wanted to say you stated your opinion you didn't defeat the points I quoted. This isn't like a math equation or physics. You have a strong opinion on that matter which I respect but that's it. An opinion.
