Half Life 3 confirmed. Forreal this time

Atlus registered Persona 5 like 4 years ago... and we only have a teaser site that may or may not be for Persona 5.
 
Nah, I don't believe it 'till they actually announce it.
But Valve is doing a lot of annoucning right now, don't they? SteamOS, a controller and so on...
 
Wouldn't be surprised if it works as a SteamOS launch title thing.
 
So then, Half Life 3 won't be a non-direct continuation that's quite different like hl1>hl2 was? Because Half Life 2 didn't end yet, what with the episodes and what not.

It should be kinda obvious by now that there won't be any episode 3.
 
Well I know, but I expect them to finish the current storyline before they make the jump to the third game. Or maybe the third game won't be to half life 2 what hl2 is to hl1. I hope it is though, which is why I would like them to be done with hl2 first.
 
It most likely will be ended with HL3. Nothing else would make much sense, imo. Also I doubt that VALVe would be naive enough to think that players wouldn't hate on it then. :>
