Handgun

APTYP

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
I'm looking for a handgun (not price, just info and a picture) with a significant killing range and accuracy.

I'd go for the Desert Eagle. It has the punch to blow off a serious chunk of someone's head, but also range and accuracy. Fallout just didn't do it justice.

I need it for Fallout TC. High accuracy is the only requirement (magazine capacity can be expanded, caliber requirement - *sometimes* fixed). Of course, accuracy could be dependent on the caliber type, but still...

Actually, it was the best handgun in Fallout, except that Handcannon or what was its name.

Nah, there were much better ones. The Desert Eagle was armor piercing and armor piercing weapons in Fallout sucked, even against armor. The gun combo in Fallout early on was a hunting rifle and a .45 pistol. Then a .223 pistol and a Gauss Rifle.

I meant the REAL Fallout - Fallout 1 :-)

Caliber guide?

I found a couple over the Internet, but I'm still hungry. Can someone help me out?

RE: I LIKE GUNS!

DAMN those are some mighty-fine guns you got there!

to actually answer the question though, I like the .223 pistol the best. with good small guns, this little puppy can dish out 25+ damage per shot! plus you can find them pretty easily, and the ammo is a cinch to find.

RE: I LIKE GUNS!

<sigh> I was talking about REAL gun! As you undoubtly have noticed, the big red sign on the entrance forbids the discussion of Fallout gameplay issues, including questions about 'best guns'.

RE: I LIKE GUNS!

If you want a good handgun, you should get a 45. cal pistol. Load one of those with hollow point rounds, and it can lay waste.

RE: I LIKE GUNS!

I'm confused. NRA site says Pennsylvania law permits selling a gun to 18 y.o., but I heard that semi-automatics are prohibited to be sold except 21y.o.'s or older.
