HAVE Online Korean Gamemaker Creates TF2 Ripoff

The Vault Dweller

always looking for water.
I know you dear reader are already sitting down. Nevertheless I ask you to sit down before I tell you this simply, because it's that disgust inducing.

A Korean game company (known for MMO development) has made a multiplayer FPS with character classes and a humurous setting. Now right there that seems not only a lot like TF2, but even more so considering how few FPS have any sort of class system.

It gets worse unfortunately. Much worse. Each one of the classes is very similar to one in TF2. Both in style and game mechanics. In fact listening to the sound effects I think they might have been directly ripped from TF2. I won't say it since I could easily be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.

Oh and as if ripping off almost everything from TF2 isn't bad enough...the one thing they did change to be "original" is that...the characters are all female anime-styled characters.

I absolutely hate the theft of ideas like this. The fact the few changes make it blatantly obvious the audience they are looking for only makes it worse. Also did I mention the company wants it free-to-play, but you pay for various in-game stuff?

I really hope Valve sues. They'll win.

I saw this a good time ago but regardless still pretty shitty.

There's even a few moments that are pretty much ripped right from "Meet The ____" videos and just done with their weird dolly characters.

Korean companies do this with many things.

"Action figures fighting?"

I played that already. It's called 'Super Smash Bros.'

Interesting. The two signs on the game are in Japanese, but the game is Korean.

I didn't see a Pyro equivalent. That's one-up it's got on TF2.

Otherwise, yeah, blatant rip-off with weird anime doll characters. Bleh.

the game mechanics and weapons are direct rip-off, yeah. but TF2 sure seems like much better value, even if you pay for it. whatever. i doubt Valve will bother.

it's not as if TF2 is that 'original' in mechanics either. they took a lot of old stuff and bundled it into an awesome game.

I like how you can fight in living rooms and such.
plenty of TF1, CS and TF2 maps like that.

with the popular Toy Fort most prominently in TF2.

It would be cool if the heavy equivalent really was "Heavy".

A hot ass BBW with curves that could make any man question fashion and self-image stereotypes.

I didn't see a Pyro, Engineer or Spy equivalent. Their demoman even only has one eye!

Somewhere a lawyer is orgasming over the possible lawsuits involved with this.
