Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
I need to find the original of this picture without the writing on it. I'd like to use it for part of a mod, but I want it without the "please stand by" writting on it. I dont even know what it is called so I cant google it.

If you know any other good screens like this please post a link for me.

Any help would be good.

Try to google "Tv test pattern" with the key words indian and old. This is the best I could find.

From what I can dig up, it is simply the "Indian Head Test Pattern."
Science Fair Project Encyclopedia said:
The Indian Head test card was a black and white television test pattern used by RCA that was introduced in 1939. The card was generated by using a special tube called a monoscope . The Indian Head would could be seen when a station had closed down for the night. It would often be accompanied by the national anthem followed by a 1,000 hertz test tone.

When American broadcasters transitioned to color television, the SMPTE color bars superseded this black-and-white image.
By the way, this (PDF format) is a better version of the 1956 EIA resolution chart that Azrael-Arkangel posted. I looked at a number of different test patterns, but these are the only ones that are really interesting. Just search for test patterns and you should be able to find a number of sites detailing them in great length. Anyway, the best copies I can find are the following:

A darker version, like in Fallout:

And a smaller, but much more crisp version:
