Hebrew ads?

I live in Germany and my browser defaults to British English.

Yet, for some reason, lately I get almost exclusively Hebrew ads from Israel and Google has defaulted to Hebrew at one point as well.

I have changed nothing in my settings, though, and am still using the same broadband service.

Is anybody else experiencing such problems? Is this a common problem with ISH (the provider)? Are the jews onto us? Is this the late revenge for the Holocaust?

Turns out Unitymedia (aka ISH) is part of the great Jewish conspiracy and hands out IPs which used to belong to Israelis. Haet!

You're computer has most likely fallen victim to a hijacker or malicious code of some kind. Cookies on your PC will allow Google to cache certain information and settings you configure on their website. Often web hijackers will configure that information to their financial gains.

I'm not sure if this works in the UK but its free and fairly good.

When my workplace used to do PC repairs we would often use that free on-line scan. A good bit of malicious code now a days will evade detection by installed anti-viral software.

In short, it's just you; but look on the bright side, your becoming more cultured in Arabic internet spam/crime!

I use Firefox on Linux. There are other ad services than Google Ads and the problem was universal.

I already said I live in Germany, which is, last time I checked, not a subdivision of the United Kingdom of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

My title says "WebGuru". That means I probably know about basic things such as cookies and IPs.

Even before you posted I edited my original post to state that I found the source of the problem.

Bitchen' I had not noticed your title, and judging by the original post. I thought, "this guy is a bit green."

I don't refresh a post before I post as that would require a couple tabs and that would most certainly make a religious figure of some kind cry.
