Help with naming that game

Here we can help people that have forgotten the name of a game, and want to find out which one it is, one thread to rule them all.

Alright, the game had something about dragon in the title I belive, where you lead a tribe and had to settle in areas and let your tribe members go on quests for the gods. Also, you could kill ducks. They had a farm, or something.

I think you're talking about King of Dragon Pass. Pretty decent game, actually.

It's a 2d action game where the protagonist have similarities with the person from Shadowman. I think you have a shotgun and go around blasting people.

It's a 3d Dungeon Crawl with lot's of guilds and races to choose from. The town is just a picture but the dungeon is real time 3d. You can be stuff like a Half-Giant Artisan.

Could be Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan, are there any more games in this series?

the game had tanks
2 dimensional map from the side
turn based
destructible terrain
tanks fire at other tanks
boom
etc.

in between rounds, you could invest money in stocks, with low risk, medium risk, and high risk. After you invest you could buy new weapons. Some of the weapons were incredibly awesome and I think there was an option to make your own weapons.

you can guess why I couldn't look this up online

edit: also, you could name your tanks, and if you don't fill in the blank, it names the tank for you.

When I was like 7 my mom banned me from the game because it automatically named me "Hitler."

Fail.

I'm sure there are several similar games, but when I was very little I used to play Tank Wars which sounds very much like what you describe. can't remember the part about buying stocks though.

but it was pretty much an early version of Worms.

Definitely sounds like Scorched Earth.

Haha I remember that game. But I quickly changed to Liero instead.

Haha I only played that game a little, regrettably... it was awesome.

a signifact amount of time in my last year in 9th grade consisted of playing Liero during classes. I don't regret that one bit.

Pretty sure it was Scorched Earth, though I'd have to play it to find out for sure. I seem to remember a darker color palette. Thanks though.

Anyways how about another.

The game consists of a grid of about 100*100 2 dimensional gray tiles (I think). There are walls blocking your path. The goal is to guide your character to the purple potion located somewhere in the level. Getting the potion takes you to the next level (I think).

You can choose from 3 different character classes. Archer, Warrior, or Sorcerer. Each character has a different attack. The warrior can swing with his sword and kill trolls near him. The archer can shoot arrows and kill trolls away from him (but only one at a time). The sorcerer was shitty and all I can remember is teleporting around.

the only enemy was trolls. Green trolls. When you killed one it made a nice URGH sound. Really satisfiying. I played it maybe in 1999 but it was definitely made before then.

The game was on the SNES and was a Mech game, not sure which Mech franchise it was. The details I remember are very vague, I just remember between missions being in some bar where you could talk to people and if you ran out of money by failing a mission or something a random guy would give you a present saying it was from a family member.

Sounds kinda like Front Mission, although as far as I know an english version was never released for the snes.

I recall a topdown 2d game where you chose an animal to play as (Lion, bear, rabbit, fox and hunter I think) and you wandered around eating food and avoiding predators.

I KNOW THIS GAME. I think I played it in preschool. There was a lot of green. Can't help much more except that the lion was awesome.

This isn't it I don't think. The game was much much simpler. Literally the only enemy was trolls, and it was turn based. You move one tile, the trolls move one tile. You attack, trolls move and attack. I think that if you got attacked by a troll you lost a life.

Ah yes, it was MechWarrior. Thanks for that, it randomly would pop in my head and bug me from time to time. It was a game I rented on the weekend but just forgot about for quite a while.

A quick google I was able to find the bar place between missions I was talking about.
