I was just wandering if anyone knew of any freeware games that are like fallout?
Well, I'm sure you are aware of the Fallout demo/pre-release that you can download over at Interplay's official FO site.
I found it interesting to play through it and see the differences between their earlier concept and what went to store shelves.

To find Wasteland...
It's very difficult to find Wasteland Online but I think you can get it here:

You could buy The Ultimate RPG Archive or Interplay's 10 Year Anthology (if you can find them) as well. If you have subscribed to Computer Gaming World for about 5 years then you should have a copy or two also. Wasteland was on the November '96 CD (with the Wasteland Manual) and also on the October '97 CD (without the Manual).
