Yesterday I started playing Fallout 1 again, but I can't remember how to do the "Make Gizmo confess" quest for Killian.

How do you record Gizmo confess?

Just keep the tape recorder in your inventory while you hear Gizmo out about killing Killian (don't accept the quest or insult Gizmo, though)

you can accept the quest to kill killian for him...
just talk to gizmo, ask about the failed assassination and there is a comment something like
"lets talk hypethetically..." and its easy from there, just play nice to gizmo... and when your done go tell lars "Lars is the first guy as you enter junktown, not the guard though"
