and nothing! Only one new message on the general board after two days.

On the old board sometimes 200 messages would scroll by in one day.

Everybody is gone.. all gone..

Well...I posted two days ago and nothing has been posted back...it does make me wonder whether it's worth bothering.

People bark on that Fallout 3 is so far away, so what? That's why I'm designing a P&P RPG, so we can play our own games. I suspect that it might be too much effort for the new breed of RPG'ers. Gary Gygax was right when he said that the modern PC RPG has the same effect on gamers that TV had on readers; made them all passive consumers. Instead of designing new stuff, maybe even giving the game designers new idea, we whine that we aren't being spoon fed more adventures.

Ah well, rant over.

Did you know

there already is a fallout P&P game? It was made by Fusion of the order I believe. I don't remember the url to his site, but I'm sure someone on this board does.

and where did you go? Anyway, about the old messages, well, this board somehow discourages use. If Miroslav went back to the old board system, and set up as many boards as we have here; then I'm sure that there wont be 'too much traffic' any more.

I know Fusion finished the unfinished fallout P&P RPG, but I don't know if he mailed his work to Miroslav.
 
On the other hand...

Was the UV board so busy before Miro replaced these boards? ...
 
I agree, the old system was much better, loaded faster, too. But a larger archive needs to be kept.
