Well, it isn't not that urgent but...

I'm looking for a Dll with common functions to play MOD music files.

I found one but weights 200k and has a lot of unuseful functions (including a horrendous GUI that you must include yes or yes in your program, solution: invisible form), and it makes the overall easy work very slow.

I think that a plain MOD player shouldn't weight more than 80k, if someone knows of one, or have a source code (don't care the language), pleaseeeeee, for the love of God!!! Tell me!!!!

Thanks :-)

PD: I don't want to waste my beautiful time programming a mod player, I just want to play cool background music without using too much system resources.

If by MOD you mean the music...

found in the background of some games, I suggest Sonique. "Whatthefuck? That's too big!" Well, That maybe, but why are you trying to find one so small? Unless you're having hardrive "spacelessness". It works great, however, and it's easy to use. Just check off MOD in the audio type setup....

Actually, I think he is talking about a .MOD insert built into a program. So that he doesn't have to write the code himself and such. If it was a simple matter of Redbooking, I would suggest using WinAmp in the background if you had the system resources, but that's not what he's looking for, I don't think.

RE: If by MOD you mean the music...

No no, I said that I was looking for a *DLL* with *common functions* to load play and unload MOD music files.

A DLL is a library with functions that can be used inside programs. As you guessed, yes, I'm doing a program with background music and I want soft DLLs to don't eat all the stupid-always-bad-managed windows resources.

RE: If by MOD you mean the music...

About what I said, save that I kind of simplified it a bit. Explaining Libraries isn't my favorite topic to hash out all the time.

RE: If by MOD you mean the music...

It seems that we posted at the same time:

That is why I didn't saw your last post ;-)
