Items I put in my companion's inventory are marked as stolen?

So, I noticed that all the items I put in Veronica's inventory were then marked as stolen when I dropped them on the ground. Any way to fix this? Putting it in a container doesn't help, nor does putting it in my inventory.

I don't know of that bug, however on the PC version, it can be solved by using the tilde key in order to open the debug console. Afterwards just drop the items, click on them, and type "setownership" without the quotations then pick it back up. Activating the console disables achievements, though, so after you pick everything back up, save (duh) and reboot to fix this.
