Jagged Alliance DS

Like some bizarre Duke Nukem Forever mutant that actually decided to come out at some point, Jagged Alliance DS has finally been released.
This game had been delayed consistently, even went under a few times, very surprised to see it released out the blue.

I haven't picked it up yet, and it's a bit too new and under the radar for any reliable reviews to have popped up yet. I'm planning on buying it tomorrow.

It's actually a port of the original Jagged Alliance, not Jagged Alliance 2 mind you, and the stylus will obviously making playing it a lot easier.
I'm kind of a bit apprehensive, most classic PC gaming ports haven't been that good, see Settlers 2 for evidence.

I was not even aware that they were making a DS port. Interesting. It begs the question of what other old PC franchises can be brought back for the DS.
X-com DS?
Blood DS? That would be cool but never going to happen.
I always thought the older Sim Cities would be cool on the DS.

Sim City 2000 on the DS with some nice enhancements? Yes please. I played that game so much when I was younger... even had a big, fat book on it that went over economics and everything in ridiculous detail.

Never played Jagged Alliance, but if it's as good as I've heard around these parts, I just may pick up this DS port (assuming the port isn't crap of course).

I found a video. It's mostly intro stuff and a little bit of hard to see gameplay....
Hard to judge from it.
