Following the news that it wouldn't be long until the next MGS game would be revealed, and then the first potential evidence of it being for the iPhone, we now have the official confirmation of the new game: Metal Gear Solid Touch is the title and it's coming to the iPhone. So much for the green teaser hinting at a Metal Gear Solid 4 port for the Xbox 360, which many people assumed to be the case (Kojima's ploy to get people talking certainly worked)."

I do not own an iPhone but this might actually make me get one.

Ah yes and also it is not only iPhone but iPod touch as well.

Anyways I really thought it was going to be a new Acid game myself.
 
If it is another acid game, Kojima better port it to the PSP. I already have a useless handheld device (the PSP) I'm not shelling out the money for another.

My Xbox360 fanboy brother was a tad pissed about this.

I certainly hope that MGS4 is only the last game in the series, not the universe for PS3. I would love an MGS RPG, or Mech game, or something. Kojima has done tactical turn-based, why not a cRPG.

I would like a new MGS game so long as they leave the "Solid Snake Saga" finished. MGS4 was a great send off for a truly epic story line/series and it is best if they move on to new things.

The MGS universe still has a lot of potential to say the least.
 
I'm typing this on iphone so its good news for me. I'd love a 360 or PC port of MGS4 though. That way I wouldnt be thinking about getting a PS3.
