Hey gyus i think yoa all know the movie with Nicolas Cage where he is playing a gangster with 2 really cool golden pistols.

I'm on my way to make a little but nice Mod for the Mordino Jr. because i dont like his knife :mrgreen:

When you colourised the gun dont colourise the grip. Just take the uncolourised grip from the original Desert Eagle and paste it over the coloured version.

I have tried but i don't work because it is colorizing into gold by himself

Wolna and I have been communicating via PM and I've started work on a dual wield GIF for the leather guy.

This has taken me about 5 hours and as such I've decided that I can't really spare the time to mod each single direction since it would require the creation of a whole New FRM (the leather jacket has NO sleeves).

As far as I can tell this new FRM with the dual pistols will be used for Lil. Jesus Mordino giving him dual gold eagles (since only he likes bling and would be fool enough to use silly akimbo pistols instead of just aiming with one)

So far I've decided that it wouldn't be worth creating all the frms for a whole moving Lil' Jesus so what are the thoughts on having a "Gizmo" like Lil' Jesus attached to the bar with an idle smoking animation, a walk and draw, a shoot, a hit, a dodge and a death animation like what is kind of shown?
 
wow very nice FRM!

It is a nice idea to give certan critters unique FRMs. This breakes generic critters part. Its way less work then making FRMs for the PC. I really this work! Looking forward to see more unique FRMs

on a other note how are you going to fix the damage for a duel welding NPC ?
 
I assume the best way to work it is that the NPC fires bursts -> as you can see Lil' Jesus fires 4 shots in that example surely the best way to do this would be to code the engine to fire a four shot burst and have that FRM as the burst animation. I could make him fire a single shot: both raised but only one fired as well.

I've just has a very interesting death animation thought - but it means that when you target Mordino you'll target the entire bar as well - never mind! We'll see how it goes.

Question to timeslip/more knowledgable folk ...

We can use custom FRM sets right? So if I label all of these NMMORD (Npc Male MORDino) would the game see them?

I remember asking about a double shot burst mode for the (sawed of shotgun) without seeing the burst animation of the rifles FRMs.
I wanted it to look like a single shot (and maybe with an harder sound) I believe this wasn't doable at the time, so I think its difficult for this case as well.

Anyone has any idea's if this is possible or not?
 
Don't mind the white bits near the feet etc - they're only there because of the transparency issues. They'll be gone from the FRMs.

If worst comes to worst we can replace the FRMs for Gizmo (since he is also static (and has all the right animations except for burst I think) and he isn't used in FO2 or any other mod for it as far as I know.

We need a scripter who can change Lil' Jesus' scripts/character/protos to put these in effect

once belonged to Lil' Jesus Mordino.
Seems like its been goldplated.

I'm not exactly sure how to script this except for the fact that the player needs to pick up two single whilst Mordino hold doubles.

The doubles need to be able to burst where as the single should just default to a regular .44 Magnum with perhaps a slightly higher damage. As such Mordino would carry one gun (for the player) but use another which is destroyed on death (since as of yet I have no plans to make PC FRMs).

We need someone who understands how Gizmo works to change Mordino's critter type into stationary and also make him a big critter - so you can't walk over him/the bar.

As far as I can understand Gizmo turns into scenery when he dies. One with his body on and one without it (once you leave and come back I asume). As such I'll provide all the critter FRMs plus two pieces of scenery: one with Mordino's body and one without (but still a broken up bar/blood etc).

Anyone up for it?

I can handle most of that for you. I already know it would be done. They would be created in his inventory only after he is killed to prevent the player from stealing them. I can also add to his script to change the body into a piece of scenery when he is killed. "All too easy..." :wink:

I will just need the "dead" Mordino and gold-plated .44 .frm files. (You can e-mail them to me at marobin88@yahoo.com.)
